Digital Marketing - The New Edge!

Search Engine Friendly - Back in 2002 the Blog URLs used to   Cash Sniper Review be very unfriendly to the search engines. Your URL syntax for example would usually have the entire date of the post within the URL as well as no file extension on the end. Search Engines would pick these up but they are not as favorable as the pages you can create now. For example all you would have to do is to install the All In One SEO Plugin and you can create pages with html extensions and without dates so each post comes right from your root domain.

Better Sitemaps - There is a WordPress Plugin now called Google XML Sitemaps that will make sure the Search Engines spider all of your pages in a short amount of time. This plugin is also free and only takes about 3 minutes to completely setup. The main thing you need to consider when setting up a blog is to write a few posts per week on it. Make sure you dont pull other peoples content or it wont have the value as writing the post yourself. Google loves unique content so take the time to write these yourself.

Internal Links - One of the biggest benefits of setting up your own blog on your website domain is the fact that you can use certain keywords you are trying to rank for to point to your main site within the content of your blog. This concept is known as Internal Linking. For example if you were trying to rank for San Diego Attorney you would create a post with this keyword in it then use this keyword as Anchor Text pointing to your main index page. Google would count this as one link.

As your blog grows you can do this over and over linking 1-2 times with each post. A word of caution though is you dont want to over do this or Google will catch on. Also you want to use Anchor Text on similar keywords that are relevant such as San Diego Attorneys or San Diego Attorney Online. You want to mix up your Anchor Text so Google doesnt think youre just trying to go for one keyword.
